"WONDERFUL CRAZY NIGHT" TOUR 2017
In 2017, Elton John continues his successful tour of his latest album "Wonderful Crazy Night" and his Greatest Hits
Five completely sold-out concerts were played by ELTON JOHN in Germany this summer. In November, two additional concerts in Bremen and Munich will follow, for which there are only a few remaining tickets. Now it is clear: also in 2017 ELTON JOHN will come to Germany again for four concerts in Cologne, Berlin and Hamburg as well as on July 05, 2017 in the SAP Arena in Mannheim.
The shows of ELTON JOHN are a "thank you" to all his fans who have remained loyal to him over the years and have shown understanding for his desire to spend more time with his family in the past years. "I probably won't be able to get to everywhere my fans are and have been - but I'll try," the British pop idol promises. Not only will he take his fans on a trip down memory lane with his Greatest Hits programme, but his upcoming concerts will equally feature a number of songs from his latest Top 10 album "Wonderful Crazy Night". Following the highly successful and critically acclaimed album "The Diving Board", "Wonderful Crazy Night" was once again created in collaboration with producer legend T-Bone Burnett. In addition to Elton John's lyric partner Bernie Taupin, however, many other companions also had a hand in the album. At the forefront is drummer Nigel Olsson, with whom Elton John has been touring since his breakthrough in the early 1960s, and guitarist Davey Johnstone, a permanent fixture in the Elton John Band since 1971. But also bassist Matt Bissonette, keyboardist Kim Bullard and percussionist John Mahon accompany the Sir on his new album.
At his concerts the fans can again look forward to over two hours of program with worldwide successful hits like "Your Song", "Rocket Man" or "Candle In The Wind". But also with energetic rock songs like "Bitch is Back", "Bennie and the Jets" or of course "Crocodile Rock" the "Knight of Pop" inspires. The British entertainer is known for this versatility and - as in all his shows - he skilfully demonstrates his talent and his voice, which has matured over the years, with incredible aplomb. He draws on a seemingly endless repertoire of top hits from his now almost 50 year career and the experience of over 4,000 concerts played.
