For the first time, Emil is allowed to go to Berlin alone. His grandmother and cousin Pony Hütchen are waiting for him at Friedrichstraße station. But Emil does not come. While his grandmother and Pony Hütchen are still thinking about what to do, Emil has already embarked on an exciting chase. Across the big foreign city, always after the thief who stole all his money on the train. Luckily, Emil soon gets help from Gustav with the horn.
Composer Marc Schubring and lyricist Wolfgang Adenberg have turned Kästner's classic into a musical for the whole family that is full of adventure and excitement, and brings 1920s Berlin back to life with its soulful and spirited songs. "Parole Emil" will be sung quietly to yourself for a very long time after your visit to the theatre!
