Estikay is back! A good two years have passed since the Hamburg native's debut album. What has the bon vivant been up to in the meantime? Of course he has been enjoying life - and those who know Estikay know that he has done so to the fullest: Nightclubs, intoxicants, beautiful women, good food. It's clear that the 28-year-old celebrates this laid-back lifestyle on his new album, "Blueberry Boyz". Monsieur Esti jets "24/7" around the globe from Miami to Paris and hangs out with his "Day Ones". So, business as usual? Almost. "There are also thoughtful songs in which I confront personal disappointments and reflect on what things actually make life worth living."The soundtrack for turn-up tracks and introverted songs alike are warm soul samples in the tradition of 90s hip-hop, meeting modern and contemporary drums. In the process, the majority of the album was produced by Blueberry Boyz member Don Alfonso, the Jugglerz and The Daltons.
