About 200,000 people come to Frankfurt Airport every day. Most of them to travel, to work, to shop or to go out to eat. In cooperation with the Senckenberg Gesellschaft für Naturforschung, Fraport AG now offers a new attraction: the special exhibition "Evolution of Flight". The highlights are two life-size replicas of pterosaurs and a fish dinosaur that hover below the airy ceiling construction.
What do the pterosaur Pteranodon and an A380 have in common? What conclusions could researchers draw from the skeletal remains about the flight behaviour of pterosaurs of that time and what did they mean for today's aviation?
All these answers and exciting information on the subject of flight can be found in the free exhibition "Evolution of Flight" at Frankfurt Airport.
Absorb huge live reconstructions of flying dinosaurs in the exhibition area in Terminal 2 of Frankfurt Airport, Level 4 (near the Skyline station).
The exhibit is free to all travelers and airport visitors at any time of day.
