For rust, Susanne Hamann-Meyer takes the camera in her hand and looks for its traces and structures. Frankfurt photographer Susanne Hamann-Meyer studied art education, was co-founder of the Harmonie art house cinema in 1977, and designed the magazine Strandgut and the cinema magazine Film for several years. At the same time she worked on many film productions and developed her passion for editing. In 1995 she moved to the Hessischer Rundfunk as an editor. But she always found enough time for her photographic work. Now she has found her subject: Rust, which makes, as Goethe wrote, 'only worth the coin'.
