Fabrizio Cammarata only needs his voice and a guitar to enchant his audience and create special moments of intimacy. The Sicilian singer-songwriter has a keen sense for great melodies and highly emotional lyrics. He finds inspiration on extensive travels around the globe, during late-night jam sessions with Damien Rice or on tour with Ben Harper, Patti Smith, Iron & Wine, Devendra Banhart or Emilíana Torrini. In doing so, he dives deep into other cultures and enriches his songs, which are mostly written in English, with, for example, African, Cuban or Mexican folklore traditions. His album collaboration with Dimartino ("Un Mondo Raro", 2017) is dedicated to the work of Mexican singer Chavela Vargas, and his current album "Of Shadows" features a tribute to Spanish poet and playwright Federico García Lorca, among others.
