The Princess and the Pea is one of the most famous fairy tales by the Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, staged in a stunningly funny way by Johannes Galli. Not only children and teenagers, but also adults will have fun.
About the content
For years, a romantically vain prince has been searching for a real princess through newspaper advertisements. Many "fake" princesses present themselves to him as decals of famous stars. Which is the real princess? From the woman of his life, his mother, the prince gets the advice to apply the "royal princess pea test", this is supposed to bring it to the day which woman is the right one.
The test consists of the prince putting a pea on the floor of the bedstead and on top of it twenty mattresses and twenty blankets. When, the next morning, the delicate princess complains of having slept badly, the proof is there. For only a true princess can be so delicate; therefore nothing more stands in the way of a marriage.
