Every year since 1975, it has been fairytale-like in Kassel at Christmas time: since then, the Christmas market has always been dedicated to the tales of the Brothers Grimm. This year's symbolic figure of the Kassel Fairy Tale Christmas Market is "Hans im Glück"!
Further highlights include late-night shopping on 25. November, the popular fairy tale slide on the Treppenstraße (in dieysm year without ice) or even the flying Santa Claus with his reindeer (Thu - Sun each at 5 pm), F/Sa additionally at 7 pm)
.Also the cozy fairy tale forest on Friedrichsplatz and the large Christmas pyramid (22 meters high, 6 stories and Christmas illuminated) can be found in their usual places.

22.11.2022 to 30.12.2022 daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., catering stands until 10 p.m.
