This guided tour is about interesting and adventurous stories of famous personalities who had a significant influence on the development of Frankfurt. For Charlemagne, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Catharina Elisabeth Textor - to name but a few - were loving fathers and husbands, adventurous youths and fun-loving wives and mothers. The search for traces also leads behind the scenes of important architectural monuments in the old town between the cathedral and the Hauptwache - some of our knowledge is based only on oral stories, whereby the boundaries between truth and fiction are not always clearly discernible. A joint tour of Frankfurt's city centre on topics of urban history offers a cultural break from everyday baby life and the opportunity for an exchange away from the toddler group. Stroller parking, loanable "manduca" baby carriers, diapering and breastfeeding facilities, and group facilitators who know what's important make the visit as relaxed as possible.
