"Herr Kapitän! Does the Loreley exist werklisch?" asks an interested passenger in this year's carnival farce. One thing is clear, when a dream ship of a very special kind starts from Mainz down the Rhine, the passengers can look forward to lots of legendary characters. There the numerous clichés
of the heart pain subject are taken just as affectionately on the grain as the traditional Määnzer Fassenacht itself.
The amateur dramatic group of the Mainzer carnival association "Scheierborzeler" takes the spectators on a four-colored journey with completely much dance and music.
