Christmas production based on Russian fairy tale motifs

The Junge Staatstheater delves into the old, traditional world of Russian fairy tales with their numerous characters and motifs. This story has everything it takes to delight young and old alike. There is the good, beautiful and innocent girl who is perpetually harassed by her wicked stepmother and stepsister and eventually abandoned in the cold winter forest.
A young hero, who is quite a creep at first, appears as well, on the scene, as does the evil witch Baba Jaga, who is never up to no good. And before Father Frost with his kindness and wisdom leads everything to a Christmas happy ending, the protagonists must endure an adventure full of magical moments including robbers, forest spirits and other curiosities.
Combined with the atmospheric, upbeat music and songs of Wolfgang Böhmer, a festive Christmas experience for the whole family is guaranteed.
