What happens when the Hesse champion of poetry slam and Frankfurt's most popular singer/songwriter plan a joint show? A few things. On Jan. 18, singer/songwriter Fee Mietz and poetry slammer Jan Cönig will battle it out for the second time. Music versus poetry slam, Fee vs. Cönig. To support them, both have once again invited fantastic guests, who not only show their art, but also assist FEE and CÖNIG in various duels. In the end, TEAM FEE or TEAM CÖNIG wins - and the winner of the evening gets to set the loser a task that he will surely not like. It's all about everything and more. It's about honor. A show full of action, art and shenanigans.
About the makers: Fee Mietz released her solo debut "Lieber liegen" back in 2016. She is currently touring the country with her album "Ein Zimmer Küche Bad" and has already performed in the support of well-known artists, such as Chris de Burgh and Katie Melua. Fee knows how to sweep others along - no matter where.
Jan Cönig is a rapper, presenter, comedian and poetry slammer. He is the author of the book "Kiss the Dove!" and hosts formats such as "We Need to Talk", "Slammer vs. Schlemmer" and "A Slam Named Horst". His texts invite laughter and reflection. He is currently the Hessian poetry slam champion.
The guests in the #2 Wintersause: As support in TEAM FEE is none other than Dan O'Clock from Cologne at the start. The song poet lovingly dresses his thoughts and feelings in a musical garment consisting of pop, soul and small excursions into other styles. His music is straightforward, simple and yet en vogue. And when he sings with a slight smile about the world not being so terrible and at least being alright now, you somehow believe every word he says. At the side of Jan Cönig Samuel J. Kramer will show his art. He is a jack-of-all-trades, writing, performing and publishing texts in anthologies, magazines and on his own blog (teilversuch.wordpress.com). In 2016 he won the Hessian Poetry Slam Championships and has performed in Germany, Spain, Austria, Brazil and Switzerland.
