Felix Lobrecht remembers his school days in Berlin-Neukölln. He didn't learn much there. Apart from the Neukölln economic cycle and the knowledge not to take himself and others too seriously, not much stuck. He is only too happy to share this non-knowledge with his audience. For he has never lost his sense of humor despite drunken teachers, brutal classmates and the wasteland of skyscraper canyons surrounding him.
The poetry slammer, presenter and stand-up newcomer tells absurd, eloquent, round-the-corner anecdotes and stories from the life of a young Berliner at a felt eight words per minute - and in the old capital manner. Not hip, not pulled, but snotty and straightforward.
He manages to make jokes that are not jokes burst into loud laughs and banging applause. And he does it close - each one original, each one innovative. With his unique style, he has quickly become one of the best-known slam poets in the German-speaking world.
To really be able to classify what is described, only one thing helps: see live. Besides slam and comedy Felix studies political science and economics. To this he always says: if you leave out 4 letters from the word university and change 5, it results unnecessary. One thing is clear: the man belongs on stage and not in lectures.
