Opener of the Open Stage is the Trio KHR with Detlef Kraft (dr), Thomas Honnecker (g), Wolfgang Reimers (dr). Thomas Honnecker is known for his work with the bands Thomas Honecker Quartett, Yahoos, Frauke Kühner Quartett, La Source Bleue, Endlich 18, Fringe, Gutter Music and KHR-Trio. He is involved in free music projects with concerts in Poland and the Czech Republic. His collaboration extends to quite a few bands.
Also active in this environment are the renowned visual artist Detlef Kraft and the musician, philosopher and former taxi driver Wolfgang Reimers, well known in Frankfurt. The trio KHR has been making music together in Darmstadt for many years, forming a fixture in the scene there and performing there with corresponding frequency.
A cooperation with the Forum for Improvised Music Frankfurt.
