So the times are changing! Used to say: "Üb' always faithful and honest to the cool grave and do not deviate a finger's breadth from God's ways" so it says today: "Take the money and run". Why do car companies give a "Dieselgate"? Because they can! There is less and less question about what is in accordance with the moral law (Kant), but about how to get as much as possible as fast as possible and show the others the smoking tailpipes (Kante). "Categorical Imperative"? "Golden Rule"? "Double Imperative of Love"? For modern man, this is as sexy as black-and-white closed-circuit TV or a steam-powered Nokia cell phone. Shame is out and greed is in. That's why nowadays people fear the tax office more than people used to fear the Inquisition. In their twelfth program Clajo Herrmann and Hans-Joachim Greifenstein pursue the question of why modern man is such a dope, and yet you can laugh at him just fine.
