Like hardly any other band, Pink Floyd shaped music history for decades. Thus, the four Brits influenced both the rock scene, as well as the electronic music lasting. The legendary live shows were characterized by a breathtaking synthesis of the arts of music, light and show. The band played their last concert together in July 2005 at Live 8. Floyd Reloaded makes this concert experience possible again! After a successful arena tour through the biggest halls in Germany, noticed and praised concerts all over Europe, as well as winning the prestigious "Radio Regenbogen Award" for the best show in 2013, the band has now set itself new goals.
On the of the arena tour, the Pink Floyd fan newcomer could gain a feeling for the moving music, but especially for the formative light show of this conceivable music history. The die-hard fan felt omnipresent to the past. Generations of fans got their money's worth. Now Floyd Reloaded, without losing the Arena's spirit, also plays smaller town halls, multi-purpose halls and community centers. So the concert event will no longer deprive any Pink Floyd fans, which is already reflected in the ticket price.
Floyd Reloaded does not need an arena for the spirit of this music to be heard. Smaller in formation, yet much larger in intimacy to the original, the latest Floyd Reloaded production is celebrated by Fan. Floyd Reloaded takes you through the five decades of Pink Floyd's creative period. Always with great respect in their approach to the music and with an eye for detail. The musical set is populated with titles from various albums. (among others The Dark Side Of The Moon, Animals, The Wall, Wish You Were Here) The charismatic frontman from the north of England, Colin Dodsworth, provides authentic vocals. With Thorsten Quaeschning, composer and keyboarder of the most successful synthesizer band in the world "Tangerine Dream", the position on the keyboard is filled with top-class musicians. Band founder Philip Michael Klenz interprets David Gilmour with great attention to detail and tasteful virtuosity on the guitar.
The line up is completed by the longtime rhythm section Chris Umbach and Thomas Wimmer. Completing Floyd Reloaded is the captivating light show.
