On Thursday, 09.07.2020, 7:30 pm, intimate baroque music will be heard under the motto "MUSICK FOR A WHILE", played by the DUO FLAUTO ATTIORBATO. The concert can be seen on the home page of the Evangelische Studierendengemeinde (ESG) www.esg-frankfurt.de on the evening of the concert. This concert concludes ESG's 2020 Summer Concerts series with students from the Frankfurt Conservatory of Music. We hope that the concerts in the winter semester 2020/21 can take place again, perhaps in a limited way, but still open to the public.

For Kathrin Härtel (recorders) and Konrad Hauser (theorbo), the instruments recorder and lute are virtually the epitome of baroque chamber music, as they reduce the music of that time to its most necessary minimum - melody with basso continuo. The name of their duo "Flauto Attiorbato" describes well the feeling of the two artists when making music, namely the fusion of recorder and theorbo to the fantasy instrument "theorbierte Flöte". One of the highlights so far for Flauto Attiorbato was our performance at the renowned Weilburger Schlosskonzerte in 2016.

The program includes works by Robert de Visée, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Henry Purcell and John Dowland.
