Singer of the newcomer band Fonix, Selenia Luana Gulino, was born in 1994 quasi already singing, in Frankfurt. Influenced by singers like Christina Aguilera, Hayley Williams, later by Nai Palm and the Jazz Queen Ella Fitzgerald, she started to develop her personal style at a young age and to unfold her voice autodidactically. Together with drummer Giovanni Totó Gulino, bassist Ralf Cetto and pianist Juan Pable Parrado Rivera she now presents "Fonix" - a colorful mixture of hits of soul, funk and jazz in her own arrangements.
