2019 is a significant year for the club SG Riederwald 1919 e. V. With now a good 620 members in 10 departments, they have kept the district moving for 100 years with a lot of commitment by the completely volunteer club leaders. And that is celebrated this year at the forest festival at Whitsun so right:
In the large marquee on the sports field of the district sports facility in the Riederwald, there is fun and entertainment for young and old on all days. The entrance is - as always - free. It starts on Friday, 7 June at 18:00 clock with the official opening by the club board. From 19:00 entertain the DJ's Klaus & Andy with party music.
The Saturday starts from 11:00 to 13:00 with a morning pint, for the musical entertainment provides the Bergen-Enkheim city band. From 19:00 clock with live music with the "Old Beer Devilz" is celebrated vigorously.
Whitsunday belongs again to the darters, from 11:00 clock at the 4th Riederwälder Dart Open in the marquee the arrows fly. The raffle goes this year in favor of the association "MainLichtblick e.V.".
On Whit Monday, June 10, begins at 10:00 am the Whitsun-Preisskat in the marquee, and at 11:00 starts the Boule tournament. For the senior afternoon from 16:00 - 18:00 we offer this year live entertainment music with coffee and homemade cake.
From approx. 19:00 clock then lay the DJ's Klaus & Andy party music on.
The Wäldchestag on Tuesday, the 11. June, is again in the sign of the children.
The festival in and around the marquee starts from 14:30 with face painting, game stations and music from "Burgfräulein Bö and the Ritter Rost Band", also comes the play mobile of the adventure playground Riederwald. At the end of the children's festival, we are looking forward to many children participating in the big balloon-flying competition at 18:00.
On all days there are the classic drinks, coffee, homemade cake, sausages, steaks, chips, fish rolls and Handkäs with music - while stocks last.
