The popular reading festival "Frankfurt liest ein Buch" celebrates its twelfth birthday! Since 2010, the non-profit association "Frankfurt liest ein Buch e.V." has been encouraging the whole city to read a particular book that everyone knows or should know, year after year. Young and old should read, listen and discuss together. The success of past editions of the Reading Festival has shown how well such a project is received by the people of Frankfurt. Even though there are still some restrictions due to the pandemic, the festival's creators have once again put together an extensive program for this edition.
The focus in 2021 will be the novel "Scheintot" by Eva Demski, a book about a past love against the backdrop of the political terrorism of the seventies. There will be readings, exhibitions, city walks, film screenings, talks and lectures. The events take place live on site, open air or digitally. You can find the entire program HERE
