Since their foundation in 1999, the Skyliners have been playing in the Basketball Bundesliga. Already in their first year they won the German Cup. But this year, the Fraport Skyliners are again aiming high in the easy credit BBL.
The basketball team's logo indicates the team's affiliation with their hometown: The lettering symbolizes the famous Frankfurt skyline. Since the founding of the team, the original club name "Skyliners" is always combined with the name of the patrons due to the changing sponsors. Since 2011, they have therefore been the "Fraport Skyliners".
The Fraport Skyliners stand for successful basketball like almost no other basketball team. In the past few years, they have won numerous titles. The club celebrated championships, vice championships and cup victories together with the fans. Especially in the Fraport Arena at home, which offers space for more than 5,000 fans, the Skyliners regularly deliver top performances. But the team has also made a name for itself on the international stage.
