The tension is rising! The new album of FRIDA GOLD is hotly awaited. The work of the band around Alina Süggeler and Andi Weizel is supposed to be released in late summer. To coincide with the release, FRIDA GOLD will be presenting their new music on tour in November and December. In total, fans can look forward to eleven dates throughout Germany.
Recently, the band released their new single "Wir sind zuhaus", which is the herald of the new album. The songthematizes, according to Alina "[...]the intense, intimate encounter from person to person." When FRIDA GOLD took the hearts of their fans by storm with their single "Wovon sollen wir träumen" in 2010, it was clear that this band had great potential. With their debut album "Juwel" they reached gold status. For the follow-up "Liebe ist meine Religion" the band received two Echo nominations and reached the top of the German charts. Musically, FRIDA GOLD stand for extroverted yet sincere pop, and frontwoman Alina Süggeler exudes pure elegance with her unique, velvety voice and strong demeanor.
