What does "German Way of Life" mean? The everyday life of Germans? Life in Germany? Or basically life from the point of view of fellow Germans? What is typically German? What do we humans have in common with plants? Is there a difference between man and woman?
What makes us in detail? Students of the European School of Design devoted themselves to these and other questions for a year and developed concepts on the topic of biological and cultural diversity in cooperation with the Palmengarten Frankfurt and the Elli Gilgal Model Agency. In the process, the topics of gender, identity and religious freedom were not left out.
With their visual works, the students turn our perception upside down and hold up a mirror to us. The sometimes humorous and profound results are combined and staged in the exhibition with the works of visual artist Sandra Mann.
