They are currently without a doubt one of the most successful bands in Germany: the electropop duo Glasperlenspiel - and that in many respects: eight gold, 3 platinum records (Germany/Austria/Switzerland), celebrated concerts, numerous awards and their still current mega-hit "Geiles Leben" (triple gold), which stayed in the official German single charts for more than a year without interruption after its chart entry on 28 August 2015. Of that time, the chart-topper spent eight weeks at the #2 peak position, a full 18 weeks in the Top10 singles chart, 29 weeks in the Top20 and 42 weeks in the Top50. The song currently stands at over 125 million audio and video streams, taking the success of Glasperlenspiel's album "Tag X" (Gold) to a whole new level. On Youtube alone, the smash hit has been clicked over 100 million times, an international top score.
