The Glenn Miller Orchestra is going on another major European tour in the 2026/2027 season with its new programme "For Swinging Dancers"!
Under the direction of Uli Plettendorff, audiences can expect a rousing concert experience dedicated to music that was originally intended for dancing: swing! Whether in Italy, Malta, Poland, the Baltic States, Bulgaria, Switzerland or Czechia – the swing spark is set to ignite everywhere.
With classics such as "Chattanooga Choo Choo", "Tuxedo Junction" and, of course, "In The Mood", the orchestra provides an authentic big band sound and an atmosphere that invites you to tap your feet, swing along or even dance. "At every concert, I encourage our audience to get up from their seats and dance if they feel like it – and this time, it's part of the programme!" says bandleader Uli Plettendorff.
