Kevin Oakes' show is a tribute to the famous composer George Gershwin. Worldly and charming, Kevin Oakes presents unforgettable and sensitive ballads by "Glorious Gershwin" with humorous anecdotes and wonderful melodies. He will be accompanied by pianist Dennis Tjiok.
Kevin Oakes, born in South Africa, studied dance and singing in London. As an actor he worked for the Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt, the T.A.T. Frankfurt, the Theater Heidelberg and the Bad Hersfelder Festspiele. He is one of the founders of the "English Theatre" Frankfurt and the "Fragile Theatre" London. He is internationally known as a show producer, choreographer and director for fashion, lifestyle and media (ZDF, SAT1, RTL, Pro 7, VIVA, MTV, RAI, NBC). In 2005 he found his way back to the stage as a singer and entertainer and has performed in Cape Town, Florence, Hamburg and Berlin. With us he released his musical program "Songs for Fools and Lovers" in 2004 and "Songs of the City" in 2009.
