There is still a gaping hole here, the sight of which will make any Frankfurter's heart bleed. But at least there is the certainty that here exactly in one year the new Goetheturm will stand. And exactly for this reason this year's Goetheturmfest will also be in the sign of the reconstruction. The festival will be opened by the Binding Brewery together with the Sachsenhausen Fountain Queen and the hunting horn blowers of the Sachsenhausen Hunting Club. There will also be live music, festival beer and bratwurst on both days. The BINDING festival mug for the reconstruction of the Goethe Tower will also be on sale on both days. Anyone who still wants to support the return of Frankfurt's landmark can do so at the Goethturmfest.
On Sunday morning, there will also be a family service by the Immanuel congregation in Sachsenhausen.
For a relaxed ride to the festival and back, traffiQ recommends bus line 48, which runs from Südbahnhof directly to the festival grounds. To accommodate all visitors, it runs every quarter of an hour on Saturday from 11.30am and on Sunday from 11am.
