Gogol Bordello in August for three shows in Germany. By now, word should have spread that Eugene Hütz and his band Gogol Bordello are always up for a sweaty, boundary-pushing concert evening. The gypsy-punk band, which was founded in New York at the end of the nineties, has also done a lot to spread the word about their live qualities and is almost permanently on tour. In between, Hütz and his boys and girls keep releasing album bangers like 2017's "Seekers Finders" most recently. Gogol Bordello's sound fits perfectly into the pigeonhole they scrawl with the words "GypsyPunk" - an anarchistic love child of the sounds of Sinti and Roma folk music, the punk spirit and dub grooves - to which Hütz mostly sings English, but also likes to sing in Ukrainian from time to time. So it's not without reason that Gogol Bordello are a welcome live force - led by their charming charismatic Hütz. In August they finally come to Germany once again to indulge in Gypsy Punk with violins, electric guitars and dancers in their luggage and bang out their hits "Start Wearing Purple", "Wonderlust King" or "American Wedding".
