Bitterfeld. The success story of a young German rock band goes into the next round. Entirely on their own, the four guys from Saxony-Anhalt have achieved cult status within a very short time. Their trademark: to breathe the heartbeat of a whole region in their music, as it is characteristic for the - deserted - brown coal open-cast mining area around the Goitzsche Lake - and at the same time also stands for many other regions of Germany, where structural weakness and hard work characterize everyday life.
NFollowing the successful release tour at the beginning of 2018 with numerous sold-out shows, 2018 continues unstoppably. The East rocks and this time further, higher & more intense than ever before!
True work follows true reward: be the architect of your fortune! What started out of a beer whim in 2009 has since become a heartfelt project with a large fan family. After a short time Goitzsche Front played the big festivals of their genre and always hit the right nerve, all on their own.
The guys named themselves "Goitzsche" after the Bitterfeld open-cast lignite mine - the "front" represents the granite cohesion that the band lives outwardly day after day. By the way, they still do that today without compromise, and so the four rockers embody one of the most sought-after bands of the new federal states.
True to the motto "The East rocks", Goitzsche Front stand for honest, handmade rock music, straight from the heart, straight from life. And just as everyone is the architect of his own fortune, the fourth album also bears this motto boldly on display. With "Deines Glückes Schmied" Goitzsche Front send a longplayer into the race, which doesn't bluntly throw wisdom around, but tells about the stony way, which Bocki and his guys had to go, so that everybody could achieve what he wants.
Goitzsche Front are by far not at the end of their way. Sold-out, ever-growing halls, big festivals, a support tour with Freiwild through Germany, Austria and Switzerland and fantastic chart entries, these are just a few milestones the band has worked hard to achieve.
Under the banner of the new silver disc "Deine Glückes Schmied", Goitzsche Front hit the road again in autumn. 15 tour locations are waiting for the guys and for the first time the small clubs will be exchanged for big halls. Of course, the band is also here, after the concerts, for autographs and the one or other round of Pfeffi available, just as you know Goitzsche Front just: honest, down-to-earth and absolutely genuine.
