Those who swim against the current always need a tailwind. Because being different is not just a question of character, but requires the faith and confidence to continue on one's own path with determination. Although the singer and songwriter Körner has mastered the pop ABC, the Munich native by choice does not follow any cliché or working template. He describes his music as pop poetry. What sounds like intellectual pathos is in Körner's case a frank plea for music with brains that comes from the heart. The focus is on his expressive lyrics, but while lyrical poetry is mostly the fruit of suffering, Körner focuses on positive feelings - and yet these are messages with depth.
