The first part of the concert is dedicated to the famous operas of the great composer and you can thus look forward to popular arias and duets performed by excellent international vocal soloists.
In the second part of the evening program, the 'Messa da Requiem' can be experienced with the Frankfurt Singakademie and the Marktkirchenchor Wiesbaden as a powerful-voiced choir, consisting of about 160 singers.
The solo parts are performed by Mexican soprano Rosa María Hernández, Prague-born soprano Romana Vaccaro, Korean tenor Sung Min Song and Australian-born bass Karl Huml.
The Thuringia Philharmonic Orchestra Gotha-Eisenach has been engaged as the orchestra, combining the traditions of two important cities in the unique cultural landscape of Thuringia. The history of the orchestra, which merged in 2017, dates back to the 17th century.
The musical direction is in the proven hands of Wiesbaden conductor Dr. Thomas J. Frank.
