Post-punk apocalyptics Grave Pleasures are coming back on tour: in October, the band from Finland will present their new album "Motherblood" at a series of shows in Germany.
Fans in Frankfurt/Main, Berlin and Cologne can look forward to headlining club shows in mid-October, where Grave Pleasures will celebrate their dramatic, rock-affine doomsday post-punk on stage.
Earlier this spring, Grave Pleasures had given glimpses of work on their sophomore album and announced their move to the Century Media label. Produced by Jorge Gomez Arellano (Hexvessel, Oranssi Pazuzu), "Motherblood"will be released there on September 29. Grave Pleasures had already released the song "Infatuation Overkill" in advance, which, with its driving rock sound, again approached the previous band Beastmilk.
Grave Pleasures had emerged from Beastmilk at the end of 2014 and had released their debut album "Dreamcrash" in autumn 2015. After the departure of guitarist Linnéa Olsson and drummer Uno Bruniusson, the Finns in a new line-up followed up with the EP "Funeral Party" in autumn 2016, whose song "Deadenders" they added a video to.
