Already for the 7th time it is called this year on the fairground at the Ratsweg: Manege frei to the "Great Christmas Circus Frankfurt". Once again, the Frankfurt audience can look forward to an absolute world star program with world-class artists, clowns and animal trainers. For the first time: a troupe from the Cuban State Circus. The six artists will provide with a lot of Caribbean joie de vivre and two first-class performances for an incomparably rousing atmosphere in the 1,400-seat tent of the Great Christmas Circus.
But that's not all: by popular demand of our loyal audience, there will again be flying people under the circus dome with the Flying Wulber. With the Los Mitchell Trio, probably the funniest clowns of our time will come to Frankfurt. And with Georgio Hromadko, one of the fastest diabolo jugglers in the world will take the hearts of the audience by storm. In addition, the completely new, two-and-a-half-hour programme will feature a healthy dose of female power. The handstand artists Michelle and Nicole Kolev, for example, present energy-sapping tricks that are otherwise only performed by men. Belarusian Alesya Gulevich, on the other hand, is a three-time Guinness World Record holder and will thrill audiences in Frankfurt with her hula-hoop performance. And Maud Florees Gruss will combine acrobatics with ballet on the tightrope, as she floats over the milimeter-thin silver wire in a lace dance. Meanwhile, the director of the Great Christmas Circus himself will be responsible for another absolute highlight of the programme: Natascha Wille-Busch, together with Manuel Frank, will present a horse carousel with 18 horses. Also involved in this equestrian show will be the only 8-year-old Angel Wille with her pony rasselbande. And so also in 2019 the conclusion can only be: Thanks to first-class artists, modern lighting technology, creative staging ideas and rousing live music from a six-piece orchestra, Carl Busch will once again present circus tradition at its best.
