For the four musicians of the Jazz Sisters Quartet there are no genre boundaries. They play their favorite songs, and they don't care what they once sounded like in the original. They turn a swing standard into a funk number, a former pop hit into a jazz waltz, a rock classic into lush Latin rhythms. With virtuosity and great joy in playing, the Jazz Sisters discover old, new, well-known and forgotten songs and give them their very own sound. The quartet line-up with voice, guitar, double bass and drums is wonderfully complemented by polyphonic background vocals, and in charming and entertaining moderations the audience learns the little stories behind the songs.
