The music of the 20s has done it to him in his youth and was represented in many of his music cabaret programs. Now Jo van Nelsen dedicates himself exclusively to these gems of the art of entertainment and its performers and composers, such as Claire Waldoff, Willy Rosen, Friedrich Hollaender, Mischa Spoliansky, Rudolf Nelson, and many more. He presents the funniest, most frivolous and absurd Schlager and chansons of the years 1919-1933, virtuously accompanied at the piano by pianist Bernd Schmidt.

The festival market opens at 12 pm for you and offers daily live music of various genres. Numerous bands from Frankfurt and the surrounding area provide a relaxed ambience at the market already at lunchtime.
