Pippi Longstocking - full name Pippilotta Viktualia Rollgardina Pfefferminz Efraimstochter Langstrumpf - is the strongest girl in the world. She lives all alone in Villa Kunterbunt with her two pets, Mr. Nilsson the sea cat and Little Uncle the horse. This is, of course, a thorn in the side of the worried headmistress Mrs Prysselius.
But Pippi knows how to stand up to her and the other adults and, together with her friends Annika and Tommy, has countless adventures. The delightfully ill-bred girl not only keeps the two thieves Donner Karlsson and Blom at bay, but she also proves that you can solve the trickiest tasks and problems with courage and imagination.
