Gregor Meyle conjures "the lightness of being" on stage. The fact that a career in the music business also means hard work has become common knowledge. Sold-out concerts, gold records, Echo, German Television Award and even his own TV format with "Meylensteine", which is already going into the second round in 2017 - only very few artists manage that. Gregor Meyle has achieved all that. And yet - no sign of a break. The 5th studio album of the likeable Backnang singer-songwriter with hat , glasses and beard has just been released, which, like the tour, is called "Die Leichtigkeit des Seins".
About Meyle: "On a dreamlike trip, I was canoeing in the South Seas and thought: It can't get any more beautiful. This is the lightness of being. I wanted to capture that moment forever and that's how a song and also the title for the record and the tour came about." The songs are about balance in life and feeling like you've arrived, not constantly facing walls to tear down anymore. And of course, this "lightness" can also be seen and felt live.
Gregor is on the road in a large line-up with a band of loud Champions League musicians, who some may already know from "Sing meinen Song - das Tauschkonzert". Together they conjure up numerous new songs, of course, but also familiar hits in a new guise on stage. There are more than two hours Gregor Meyle & band live experience including wonderful new stories, but with the usual intimacy and much contact with the audience.
