"He's handsome, he wears great glasses, he's got a killer voice" - that's how i-D described the just 20-year-old musician Gus Dapperton. Already since the eighth grade Gus writes his own songs. All tracks on his "Yellow and Such" EP, released in August 2017, were produced, recorded and mixed by Gus himself. Of course, he doesn't need a label either, but simply released his first EP without a record label, as befits a DIY musician. Features with Vogue, Pigeons and Planes or i-D followed, all of which fell a little in love with the newcomer and for a good reason too. Gus Dapperton embodies a new generation of musicians. His dreamy indie-pop style and incredible voice give him a unique sound in the process.
