William Shakespeare (1602)
Hamlet travels to his homeland for his father's funeral. When he arrives, his mother has already married his uncle Claudius, making him the new king. Hamlet is shocked. The goings-on of the courtly world are disgusting to him, stale, shallow, and unenjoyable. During the night, the ghost of his father appears to the young Hamlet, who reveals to him that he has been murdered by his brother. He calls upon his son to avenge him. But Hamlet doubts, he hesitates, he questions and wants to test the truth of this apparition. So, in search of evidence from now on, he decides to display a peculiar nature in order to convict his uncle .
