His name stands for internationally successful German metal music like no other. His voice is the soul of timeless hits like "Metal Heart", "Princess Of The Dawn" or "Balls To The Wall". With the group U.D.O., which was founded at the end of the 80s after he was kicked out of ACCEPT, the singer achieved numerous classics during his long career, such as "Animal House", "Timebomb" or "Man And Machine".
DORO
The world has known that DORO Pesch is a living legend at least since 17. June 2013, when the "Queen of Rock & Metal" received the inaugural "Legends Award" at the prestigious "Golden Gods Awards" in London's O2 Arena. Only three months later, on 13.09.2013, in Berlin, the same honour was bestowed upon her in Germany. She received the German Metal Hammer "Legend"-Award. DORO can look back on a truly unique career in the music business. In 2013/2014, the Düsseldorf native with adopted home Long Island (New York) celebrated her 30 (!)-year stage anniversary with an extensive "30 Years - Strong &Proud" world tour. The current DORO band consists of Nick Douglas (bass), Johnny Dee (drums), Bas Maas (guitar) and Luca Princiotta (guitar, keyboard).
