The writer Hans Pleschinski tells of the writer Gerhart Hauptmann in his novel "Wiesenstein". It is a work of episodes, shocks, love, fear, hope, despair as well as tensions and suspense. Pleschinski tells of the end of the war, the loss of home and the great escape. He brings to life a world that seems lost to the present.
