After more than three and a half decades together of Volker Heißmann and Martin Rassau, the time is finally ripe for a program like none before: "Wenn der Vorhang zwei Mal fällt" is a furious two-man show about the boards that mean the world not only for Heißmann & Rassau - and no matter whether those boards are in the Olympiahalle Munich, the Ohnsorgtheater Hamburg, the Stadthalle Vienna or but in the community hall of Strullendorf.
Experience Franconia's most popular comedians in an adorably funny declaration of love for the theatre and its versatile, over-the-top and often enough just completely bonkers protagonists. The two gifted quick-change artists plunge into incredible anecdotes, exciting experiences as well as absurd adventures in front of, behind, above and sometimes under the stage.
They slip again into any number of crazy roles from the cocky culture officer to the pompous critic or the love-struck dresser to the absent-minded card ripper and many other crazy characters more. Brand new sketches and classics from the early years are also included, as well as the cult widows "Waltraud & Mariechen", who of course can't be missing when it comes to an enjoyable evening all about big theatre and small dramas (or vice versa).
