After her wild days in pop music in the 80s, the classically trained musician later made a name for herself as a top musical performer.
She has overcome personal losses and found her inner peace as she has grown older.
All the while, she has remained full of enthusiasm for life and ready for the surprises of the future.
With her new album "Movin' On", Helen Schneider is literally taking the next step musically.
The songs were recorded in collaboration with composer Jo Ambros and lyricist Linda Uruburu.
The result is wonderfully sensitive songs that are rhythmically and atmospherically influenced by the blues, folk, pop and rock of the 60s/70s.
