Whether jihadists in the Middle East or evangelicals in the Wild West, even CDU/CSU invoke a founder of a religion. They all have something in common: they mix religion and politics in an encroaching and unreasonable way. Whereby a distinction must be made between religions and religiosity. Religiosity enables the individual to relate to the whole. Religions are cartels for the enforcement of power interests. That is why religions necessarily need religious people. While religious people don't necessarily need religions to let dear God be a good man.
High time, then, for a devout atheist. And who would be better suited than HG. Butzko, permanent guest in all cabaret shows of German television and winner of the German cabaret award. His satirical-political cabaret is always topical and does not use prayer wheels or moral sermons. He does not juggle with clubs, but with thoughts, and when he sings, then it is the hymn of humanity in inhuman times. Butzko's arguments are not always comfortable, but they are logical instead of ideological.
