This year the "Ensemble 9. November" celebrates its 30th anniversary with us with a theatre festival of the arts. Over two days, they will charm audiences with highlights from past plays and then invite them to a celebration with a buffet. In the second week, they will once again perform their first play, "Scenes of a Cultural People". 1988, on the occasion of the nationwide commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of the Reichsprogromnacht, the scenic oratorio "Szenen eines Kulturvolkes" about the women's orchestra in Auschwitz was created as part of an artists' initiative, under the direction of Helen Körte and Wilfried Fiebig. It was the birth of the "Ensemble 9. November". Since then, the E9N (Ensemble 9. November) has put out many productions, always with an interdisciplinary approach: Text - Music (Live!) - Dance - Visual Arts and choreographed play combined into a total work of art. In the 20 years with us alone, over 30 major musical theatre pieces have been presented.
