Every year in spring, the Ronneburg is prepared to receive many guests from near and far for large historical events in its old walls before Easter.
With the large historical Easter market, the round of these major events is opened. Many historical merchants and old craftsmen of almost extinct guilds will gather for the festival.
The medieval people have set up historical camps on the meadow in front of the castle. Medieval music groups, knights, jugglers, the medico, and many other performers entertain guests.
Children can paint giant eggs, enjoy live Easter bunnies and Easter lambs, ride the children's carousel, compete in a children's knight tournament, or ride a donkey. Garlic, flatbread, or dinnerle bakers will cater to the palate.
