The time has come! From November 8 to 12, 2024, the largest autumn market in the middle of Germany will be celebrated. The Hochheim market has been celebrated for over five centuries. And even though high-tech has found its way into the rides today, tradition is still very important here. The offer, which attracts guests from all over the Rhine-Main region, is extensive: the market, trade and vehicle exhibition, winegrowers' stands, trade fair tent, cattle market, amusement park with high-tech and family rides and a large historical market section make the Hochheim market one of the most beautiful folk festivals in the region in 2024.
Around 700 market businesses will be represented on the 70,000 square meter event site, including around 400 market traders, 70 food stalls, wine, mulled wine, beer and other beverage stands as well as an impressive number of fairground attractions. From the 45-metre-high "Sonnenrad" Ferris wheel, you have a fantastic view of the entire fairground.
The market gives trade visitors an overview of the current state of horse, cattle, sheep and goat breeding or offers - especially property owners - the opportunity to compare a wide variety of equipment and machines for the home and garden. In a large exhibition tent, exhibitors provide a wide range of information on the topics of household, health and tourism.
It is precisely this diverse and attractive range of products that makes the market a very special experience, the likes of which cannot be found anywhere else in Germany. The five-day event concludes with the final fireworks display every year on the Tuesday of the market, which of course starts at 7.00 p.m. and is just as family-friendly.
