In June 2018, German audiences can expect a truly spectacular live show. The Hollywood Vampires - Alice Cooper, Joe Perry & Johnny Depp are coming to Germany for 5 exclusive shows:
According to USA TODAY, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry swears that the Hollywood Vampires will completely blow people away. "I don't say this often, but this band is fucking great," he's quoted as saying, and Johnny Depp warns the audience, "It's going to give you bloody ears, there may be cases of tinnitus." To which Cooper adds with a wink, "Then we'll know we've done our job well."
Finally, the Hollywood Vampires announce the first leg of their summer 2018 world tour dates. They have managed to once again make time to tour together to give fans what they really want: More Vampires! In doing so, they will be recruiting more rock stars from their circle of friends as new vampires for the tour. Announcements on that will follow shortly - you can look forward to it!
What once started as a small, intimate, star-studded show for friends and family at the Roxy Theatre in L.A. quickly grew into a top global act. Their 2016 summer tour brought the Hollywood Vampires to 23 cities and 7 countries from Verona, New York to Bucharest. A highlight was their headline show at Rock in Rio in front of 100,000 fans.
The supergroup consisting of the years kings of rock and a Hollywood superstar will perform a high energy, non-stop concert like no other on stage, including their hit single "As Bad As I Am" from their 2015 debut album "The Hollywood Vampires". Fans can expect a barrage of hits and rock classics, including "My Generation," "Whole Lotta Love" and the "School's Out"/"Another Brick in the Wall" medley.
The Hollywood Vampires' story began in 1969 on the Sunset Strip in the back room of a club called the Rainbow Bar & Grill. It became the hangout for rock stars who lived in L.A. or passed through there on tour. "To get into the exclusive club, you just had to drink all the other members under the table," recalls founding member Alice Cooper.
Cooper and his old friend Johnny Depp decided to revive the spirit of the Hollywood Vampires (albeit without any alcohol at all). Adding another longtime companion, Joe Perry, they began recording the first album. Thus was created a place where great legends hang out, laugh and create music together.
