If you don't remember the name of the band, you will know who we are talking about at the latest when you hear their hit "The Reason"! After the song was presented in April 2004 as a single of the album of the same name, which was released the year before, the final- and thus international breakthrough came for Hoobastank also in Germany and Europe!
For the 15th anniversary of the album, the American rock band is coming on a big anniversary tour and will also stop in Germany for six dates.
It's hard to imagine the 2000s without Hoobastank, now consisting of Doug Robb (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Dan Estrin (lead guitar/keyboard), Chris Hesse (drums/percussion/backing vocals) and Jesse Charland (bass/keyboard/backing vocals). To this day, their hits "The Reason", "If I Were You", "Same Direction" and "Crawling In The Dark" are true earworms and can be found in the standard repertoire of any radio station.
The hit album "The Reason" received three GRAMMY nominations in the categories "Song of the Year", "Best Rock Album" and "Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group". It's no wonder, then, that this achievement deserves extra celebration on the album's 15th anniversary!
In addition to the aforementioned top hits, all fans will also get to hear a few songs from "Push Pull," which was released in May 2018 and is their sixth studio album.
Many wonder what the American rock band's recipe for success is. To that, guitarist Dan Estrin has this answer, "We did it all from day one because we love it. We didn't do it for money or fame. It was our drug. We didn't need anything more than that. It still feels like summer camp for adults. But by now, even my mom is asking if there's a hit song on the new album."
