Jo van Nelsen's career started in 1989 with a real bang: His dancefloor hit "Ich bin so wild nach deinem Erdbeermund" (Culture Beat feat. Jo van Nelsen) was 18 weeks in the German charts, 3 weeks in the English, number 1 in France. Stage and TV appearances all over Europe. To date club and radio hit all over the world, numerous remixes and over half a million clicks of the video on YouTube. "Der Erdbeermund" is an indispensable part of German pop history!
On the 30th anniversary of the hit and his career, Jo van Nelsen now remembers his beginnings with his pianist Bernd Schmidt and lifts many a treasure from his stage performances of the last 30 years in a very personal cross-over program.
